Thinking Like A Historian

Developing a Research Question/Working Thesis Statement

Think About . . .

1.  What background information do you know about your topic?  What is its historical context?

2.  Develop a list of questions about our topic?  (Why?  How?  Which?)

3.  Develop a list of keywords about your topic.

It's OK if you're research question changes during your research!
